Historic District of Independence Hall (6 blocks)
Start at the Tourist Information Center. Visit the Constitution Center, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Carpenters Hall, Benjamin Franklin’s House, Betsy Ross House, The First Post Office and many other beautifully restored sights.

Museums (12 blocks)
This walk includes the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Natural History Museum, The Franklin Institute & Planetarium, The Barnes Foundation Museum and many others.

Theatres (within 2 blocks)
Within a very short distance, you'll find the Academy of Music, Kimmel Center, Wilma, Merrian, Forest and Walnut Street theatres, the Arts Bank, and many small independent theaters.

Shopping (3 blocks)

Food (in every direction)

Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park, and Wachovia Center are all in South Philly.

The nation’s first and, we think the finest, zoo at 34th & Girard.

River Tours (long walk or short cab ride)
Enjoy a sightseeing boat tour on the Delaware River. Combination land-and-water "Duck" tours are also available.

Philadelphia is host to many teaching hospitals. Pennsylvania Hospital (4 blocks), Thomas Jefferson Hospital (2 blocks), Hahnemann University Hospital, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate Hospital, Temple University Health System, Wills Eye Hospital, Children’s Hospital.

In addition to these sights listed, we have hundreds of other points of interest, from gaming in Atlantic City (only one hour away), to visits to New Hope (45 minutes away), to discount shopping at the largest discount mall on the East Coast (20 minutes away).
